KRAKKABOOM today announced that it will be hosting special launch events to celebrate the release of NAMCO BANDAI Games’ highly anticipated real-time strategy PC title, Warhammer®: Mark of Chaos™, which hits stores in North America on November 14.

Co-sponsored by Intel and Corsair, the exclusive events kick off with a one-day PREMIERE, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12, followed by an expanded, 2-week showcase, November 13-26, allowing fans of the popular franchise one free hour over a two-week period to check out its latest installment.

New game at KRAKKABOOM: WAR WORLD

War World is a fast paced, 3rd person online shooter where players build and battle the ultimate mech warriors. Designed for multiplayer mayhem, War World lets players challenge other warriors online as they try to work their way up the War World rankings ladder. As players move up the ladder, they will be able to earn and purchase upgrades and enhancements for their mechs.

War World will also offer several single player modes, 3D arcade style games, where players can upload their scores to the web site for bragging rights. After launch, War World will continue to flourish with new expansion packs being offered every couple of months. The first expansions will offer a fully customizable skin editor for the mechs, new mechs, new arenas and new weaponry.

Star Wars: Empire at War Premiere!

Sunday, February 26, 2006, 2:00PM - 5:00PM

We are one of a few Game Centers nationwide that will host an exclusive premier of Star Wars: Empire at War in conjunction with LucasArts and iGames!

This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC from 2:00PM - 3:00PM.

We will be giving away “2 for 1 admission” passes to the Museum of Science and Industry’s Game On exhibit.

Get you picture taken with your favorite Star Wars characters!
We will have members of the 501st Legion - Midwest Garrison at KRAKKABOOM. The members of the 501st Legion create their own costumes based on the characters in the Star Wars movies and wear their costumes in public to celebrate their affinity of the stories. They represent many of the various Star Wars characters including; Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Imperial officers, Jedi Knights, Queens & Princesses, smugglers & bounty hunters to name just a few.
